First fall rehearsal of the Davis Community Church Chancel Choir,
pretty much marking our second year with the group, followed by inital
autumn practice of the Chamber Choir,
all prceeded by
the getting
there,
and
continued
music
in
the
sanctuary
with the
band.
Afterwards,
happy to drop off Emma and Carmen again at their residence, then continuing homeward, on the 189th day (night, now, really) of summer, high again 111, with Davis at 114!... today a nice quadruple-composer birthday of
Richard Coeur de Lion (1157-1199),
Antonin Dvorak (1841-1904),
Willem Pijper (1894-1947), and
Eric Salzman (1933-2017).
