October 9 - Fuzzy, Wavy

On the way home from

Davis Community Presbyterian Church

feel a strange overpouring -- sometimes characterized as light-headed, woozy, syncope -- and, while this has been encountered a number of times over recent year, sitution seems more intense.

In the past,

these sensations can be controlled --

so, Harriet and I soldier on --

the rural, open-space roads seemingly reasonably safe...

Ultimately make it home again safely.

Hard to believe,

as day starts beautifully,

though a bit challengingly,

with Emma and Juan off,

so we are left

to our own

resources

with

Joanne ably abetting on organ.

the

service

progresses

through

Discovery Time,

a

reading

of

Luke 14: 25-33,

and

have

to

get

every

word.

After

all

is said

and sung,

Emma

back for

Nativity According to St. Matthew, Op. 72 (1998) rehearsal

then

we

rendezvous with

destiny

on the 220th day of summer,

high down 5 to 91 -- locally and in Davis...
