Is it a comfort to now view the Black Hole at the center of the Milky Way?  Probably not any more than the notion that in the end times of this Expanding Universe, even individual atoms will be split apart (perhaps there will be refuge in some sort of Alternative...)


The non-comforts coninue in the continuing horrors of the unprovoked Russian aggression against Ukraine and


wildfires burning wildly in various parts of the west (yet Southern California continues to look great in such a state: some Smoky Bear version of Chinese chiaroscuro landscape painting...).


Well, at least the weather remains wonderful, on the 72nd day of summer, high up 8 to 84,


with research on William Walton's later residence on the offshore-of-Naples island of Ischia... eventually leading back to Sacramento climate comparisons --


and the notion that our California Central Valley area (including noble Davis) has the sunniest skies in the world from May through August (typically 100% of possible in July)...
