Well, it happened. And very successfully! The Davis Community Presbyterian Church Chancel and Chamber Choirs pull off their return-to-live-concertizing Spring Concert with aplomb, under the fine direction of Music Director Emma Turnbull, including

which peaks during dress rehearsal and performance!
All these pictures during the former, of course, including the
Children's Choir,
augmented eventually by Carmen, who rallies after an overnight illness.
So,
a fine
show,
with Chris,
Cliff, Harriet, Jack
and seemingly everyone enjoying everything....
The day also pretty much starts at the
kirche, with
vocal
warm-up and
the early service,
where Chris Erdman literally preaches to the Choir at times...
Following this,
homeward
for
a
brief break,
before
back at it,
rehearsing
selections
for the
show, including
Felice Anerio (1560-1614) - Christus Factus Est (c. 1590)
and
W.A. Mozart (1756-1791) - Ave Verum Corpus, K. 618, written about 6 months before its composer's death...
Afterwards,
homebound
again,
on the
74th day of summer,
high again 93, tying with yesterday as the hottest so far this year --
Davis besting this by 2 at 95...
